In conjunction with the HEARTLAND exhibition at SMART museum, in collaboration with InCUBATE’ s Sunday Soup series, Heaven presents TRY: STATION SOUP, the third in an ongoing series of a performance-meals presented by the collective Carnal Torpor .
TRY experiments use food as the liturgical basis for exploring the nexus of ‘subjective’ and ‘objective’ aspects of human experience. By providing meals designed to engage various facets of eating such as etiquette, nutrition, and collective ecstasy, Carnal Torpor seeks to provide an embodied experience of ‘culture’ as ‘nature’ and vice versa.
A ten dollar cover will include food, music, and an artifact from the performance
